ThermoFin can also be used on top of the subfloor. The tubing is pulled out and then the ThermoFin is walked right into place. You will notice in the insert that plywood is then cut to fit in between the fins. I feel this system works very well in larger areas since installation goes quicker and due to the fact that a larger diameter tube is used
(3/8" or ½"), so longer runs can be utilized
