A series of holes are drilled in the floor joists and tubing is run under the floor. "Thermo-Fin" aluminum panels are stapled or screwed under the sub-floor and the flexible tubing is 'snapped' in place. Then the joist bays are insulated to reduce 'downward' heat loss. In the picture, the silver, reflective areas are the aluminum panels and the with the tubing running through them. |
